MUST READ - RULES AND REGULATIONS

• All cottages are non-smoking. Ash trays are provided outside.​

• If you have marijuana with you during your stay, please do not smoke it near others, and absolutely no-smoking inside. If you are storing the marijuana with you in your rental, and upon inspection at check-out we can smell the odor of marijuana, you will be charged a $250 excessive cleaning fee. 

• Additional guest(s) (to a maximum of 5 visitors per cottage) is $25 per person per night or $100 per person per week. If you plan on having guests/visitors for the day, there will be a charge of $5.00 per guest per day. At any time, no more than 6 persons per cottage (guests & visitors).​

• Sorry, no pets allowed.​

• You will need to bring your own sheets, towels, and toiletries. Beds can be made up with fresh sheets at $10 per bed. Towels $10 per cottage.​

• Rates are in Canadian funds and do not include taxes. Prices subject to change without notice.​

• Deposits required for all reservations. Balance due upon arrival. Minimum $75 or 20% of total.​

• A refund will be issued with 60 days' notice of cancellation, less $50 administration fee.​ If you give less than 60 days notice, no refund will be issued. 

• We accept Debit, VISA and MasterCard. Personal cheques accepted for deposits only. E-transfer also available. We will send you payment options upon confirming your reservation.​

• Check-in is at 2:00-4:00pm and Check-out is at 10:00am​ SHARP

• Quiet hours are between 11pm-8am so that guests may have a peaceful sleep. If you are out of your cottage during quiet hours, please be mindful and respectful of other guests. ​

• No parties​

• We typically mow the lawn on Saturday’s and one day during your stay, weather depending. We try our best not to disturb our guests during their stay, but we want to keep the grounds nice for you too. ​We will let you know if you will need to move your items off the lawn to allow for mowing and trimming.

• If you start a fire in the shared fire pit, it is your responsibility to make sure the fire is fully extinguished when you leave the area. A bucket for water will be located behind the garage. ​Firewood is available for purchase for $10 per bag at the office, if you use a bag, please pay for it at the office the next day.

• The grass/trees area in front of Cottage 1, and parallel to The Beach House is a common area, aka shared space. Please do not leave personal items there taking up space that could be used by others. Please share this space along with the fire pit with ALL GUESTS. 

• Please be careful while entering the water to swim or play, there may be sharp seashells in the sand, and we do not want to see anyone get cut. No lifeguard is on site, so please play and swim at your own risk. ​

• A first aid kit is available at the Main Office for minor scraps, cuts, etc. ​

• Boat launching is now available at Misty Isles Lodge located just 2min away at 25 River Road Lansdowne, ON. The cost is $10 in and out payable to their office – 613-382-4232​

• Please no food or drink in the bedrooms or on the couches.​

• Missing, damaged or broken items will be charged to the renter.​

• Please keep doors and windows shut (except where you can open the windows with screens) to help keep the bugs from getting inside. ​

• Please be sure the turn off the propane to the BBQ when you are done using it. ​

• Please park all vehicles in the designated parking area located east of Cottage 5. Please do not block in other vehciles, trailers or our tractor.

• The cleaning fee that we charge is for standard cleaning. If excessive cleaning is required, you will be required to pay an additional charge at our discretion. If any items from the cottage are missing or damaged, you be required to pay an additional amount equal to the cost of repair or replacement plus labour. We will check your cottage prior to your departure at check-out time which can be anytime between 8am-10am. Absolutely NO LATER than 10am.

• There are bungee cords on each outdoor garbage can, please ensure this is fastened each evening/overnight to help prevent raccoons or other critters from getting into the garbage and making a mess. 

• If renting an AC unit, please keep windows and doors closed while running the unit.

• We reserve the right to ask any guests or renters to pack up and leave the premises should they not be following our rules, this would be in extreme cases only. This is out of respect for the safety and well-being of all our guests and our property.
